The answers to these questions can be written on your upcoming test for an additional point each. DO NOT POST THE ANSWERS HERE!!!
1) What American city was first named Terminus because a railroad line ended there, then renamed Marthasville, and now bears another name?
2) What two presidents served their terms of office bearing different names than the ones they were born with? (No, Ulysses S. Grant doesn’t count, even though his real first name was Hiram. He just chose to ignore it – wouldn’t you?).

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, guys, brilliant. Did you really think that everyone could just copy the first answer and get credit?!!? I mean, come on, how lame do you think I am?? (No comments or responses, please). IF YOU READ my original post, I actually says that you can write these on the upcoming TEST - not on the blog. Well, fa, that didn't work out like I'd planned...
ReplyDeleteMr. Akers, I absolutely cannot believe that they could not see "DO NOT POST THE ANSWERS HERE!!!’ in bold and all caps. Maybe you should not give them credit on the test if they wrote the answers on the test? I am just saying, they should follow your instructions carefully, especially if you say to read them carefully. Would it be fair to those who did read the instructions?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I don't think your lame at all. I think your a brilliant teacher, Mr. Akers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, they now know the answer by reading the other post. PS, I did not read this blog before you deleted the comments.
Thank you Caleben - that "brilliant teacher" line is worth some extra credit, for sure!
